All-American Bonds?

There is the start of a push in the Gainesville area for P.K. Yonge
Class of 2010 guard Jaterra Bonds to be a McDonald’s All-American next
year.
Count a current All-American, who also has been an Elite Essence
teammate of the Gator commitment for two summers, among those who
thinks that should be the case.
“Of course she should be,” said Miramar Parkway senior guard Erica
Wheeler, a Rutgers signee. “She’s a humble kid, a great kid. She called
me (the night before the Class 3A championship game) and said she was
going to bring it to us. I said good.
“She missed out on last year’s playoffs (because of a suspension)
and she’s humble now. She should walk with her head high, knowing she’s
one of the best out there.”
