Two-a-days are finished (for us, too) and preseason games take place
this week. Those of you interested in getting a few information fixes,
here are a couple of ideas.
First, purchase Varsity Sports Media’s Florida Football magazine. Corey Long, Larry Blustein and Co., once again have put together the most comprehensive look at high school football in the state.
It also previews all of Florida’s college and pro football teams, and gives readers Larry’s picks on who will play for state championships.
Also, please keep an eye out for our prep football preview, which is scheduled for release late next week.
In it, we will profile the season and take in-depth looks at the friendship between top prospects Jamal Reid of Lafayette at Dixie County’s Rodney Scott, and we will take a look at the No. 1 position locally (it may surprise you), in addition to numerous other items we hope you find enjoyable.
Kickoff is in a week-and-a-half. Are you fully prepared?
