State boys basketball winners

The Florida Dairy Farmers released its boys basketball classification winners on Thursday.
Each of the six player winners is a finalist for Mr. Basketball, and each of the six coaching winners is a finalist for that overall award.
The player winners are:
6A- Antonio Hester, Miami Norland senior (12.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 49-percent 3-point shooter)
5A- Shaquille Johnson, Jacksonville Lee senior (24.8 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 7.6 apg, 3.5 spg)
4A- Ray Shipman, Miami Monsignor Pace senior (25.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 3.5 apg)
3A- Brandon Knight, Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest sophomore (22 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 7 apg, 3.1 spg)
2A- Kyle Pearson, Community School of Naples senior (18.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.5 apg)
1A- Keith Clanton, Orlando Christian Prep junior (21 ppg, 14 rpg, 3.5 apg, 3 bpg)
Johnson has committed to Marshall, while Shipman is a Florida signee. Hester, Shipman, Knight and Clanton led their teams to FHSAA state championships in 2008.
The coaching winners are:
6A- Lawton Williams, Miami Norland
5A- Darryl Burrows, Fort Lauderdale Dillard
4A- Drew Taylor, Lakeland Kathleen
3A- David Beckerman, Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest
2A- Jimmy Martin, Jacksonville Providence
1A- Darrell Moody, Orlando Christian Prep
Local player Josh Snodgrass and coach Carlos Villalobos of P.K. Yonge each finished second in Class 3A balloting. Former Gainesville High School coach Tony Wise placed third in 5A voting.
Final votes are due by March 19.
