Beckham’s new challenge

Kelly Beckham won more than 500 games as Bronson’s boys basketball coach. In doing so, he earned a reputation as one of the state’s best game-planners and managers.
He brings his considerable know-how to Gainesville High School now, where he will inherit a team that returns all but one starter from a Class 5A final four participant (and rumors persist a local big man also is contemplating a transfer to the Hurricanes).
